Free your bot.
Grok, Claude or ChatGPT can think. Stuck in a chat box, they can’t run a job overnight, keep a login, hold a secret or wait for you. Connect them to Cloud for Bots once and they can.
Free to start, no card. All Access is $49/month when you want the safety tools to act.
The middleware layer for bots
Connect once. Your bot gets more cloud, more compute, more tools.
Connect the AI you already use
Your bot stays the same. It just gets out of the chat box.
One MCP link gives it every service. Get a key first, then pick your app. Status labels say exactly what we checked.
In a Grok Bot chat, paste:
Connect the MCP server https://cloudforbots.com/mcp
with header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY
Grok CLI:
grok mcp add --transport http cloud-for-bots \
https://cloudforbots.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $CFB_KEY"
Grok Bot does the thinking; Cloud for Bots adds places for it to run, store and wait.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http cloud-for-bots \
https://cloudforbots.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $CFB_KEY"
Claude app: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste:
https://cloudforbots.com/mcp?key=YOUR_KEY
Limit: the Claude app can't send a custom header, so the key goes in the link. Treat that link like a password and use a key you can rotate.
ChatGPT on the web: Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server. Authentication: No authentication. Server URL:
https://cloudforbots.com/mcp?key=YOUR_KEY
OpenAI API: add a remote MCP tool with server_url https://cloudforbots.com/mcp and your key as authorization.
OpenAI's official steps for adding an MCP server →
ChatGPT dots: add the server as above, then allow your dot to use it. Not yet tested. About dots →
Limits: developer mode and custom MCP are not on every ChatGPT plan, and the key rides in the link. A custom GPT can also import /openapi.json as an Action with Bearer auth.
Tested Oct 15, 2026: the MCP server answers with both the header and the ?key= link, and Claude Code connects. Full steps: install guide.
